Baby, you’re a firework!

Celebrate Independence Day in Black Mountain, North Carolina with a free fireworks display! As dusk settles on July 4, the night sky will come alive with a dazzling show that's visible from many spots throughout downtown, making it the perfect way to end a day of hometown holiday fun.

Fireworks will once again be launched from behind the former Bi-Lo Grocery Store (205 NC Highway 9), just behind Starbucks and The UPS Store. If you're planning to drive, parking will be available on a first-come, first-served basis in the former Bi-Lo parking lot, as well as in public lots and on-street parking throughout downtown. With plenty of people expected to gather for the celebration, be sure to allow extra time, watch for pedestrians, and use caution when traveling through the downtown area before and after the show.
