Music to Her Ears

While there are many great venues in Black Mountain where you and Mom can enjoy live music, we are particularly fond of White Horse Black Mountain. This non-profit venue features a very diverse mix of live entertainment including classical music, jazz, bluegrass, Native American performers, poetry, pop-up craft shows, and more. Housed in the historic McMurray Chevrolet Building, White Horse wants everyone to have access to live music, so their cover charge is simply “pay what you can afford”. We recommend that you get your tickets in advance.

On Mother’s Day weekend, White Horse Black Mountain presents:

  • Friday, May 9 at 7:30 pm: The John Henrys

  • Saturday, May 10 at 7:30 pm: Deep River plays Prime Country & Yacht Rock

  • Sunday, May 11 at 5:00 pm: Chinobay & Dance of Hope
